Lyndsee Cooper, Therapist

(LPC)

Life is challenging, however, you do not have to try to manage all of the changes and stressors on your own. I have had the opportunity to walk alongside people from various backgrounds throughout my career. I practice cultural humility as I help you gain what you are wanting from therapy. I am trauma-informed and LGBTQA+ affirming. By using a person-centered and cognitive behavioral approach to therapy, I create a safe, non-judgmental working environment to meet you as you are and work together towards your identified goals. I will sit with you in your pain and we will celebrate your joy and progress as we explore difficult life experiences and how those experiences continue to impact life now. I hope to empower you as my client to make the changes that you want to see within your life.

I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from The University of Indianapolis in 2013. I have worked in Indiana, Texas, and Arkansas with clients of all ages. I enjoy working with both adolescents and adults managing life transitions, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and trauma. As a military spouse, I am passionate about helping the military community as I understand the lifestyle. I have additional training in Perinatal Mood Disorders and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD.

When I am not working, I enjoy going on walks with my dogs and spending time with family and friends. I also love to read and travel.
