There was a time in each of our lives, before hurt and fear took over, when our hearts were whole. For some of us, the pain is new and unfamiliar. For others, it’s been there as long as we can remember. For my clients, it’s something that they’ve decided to stop running from and to face it head-on. Whether you’re an individual picking up the pieces of a broken heart, or a couple or family trying to keep your world from falling apart, I’m ready to help you conquer your past. I can help you regain emotional control, breath and become whole again.
I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings with incredible mentors who have helped me develop the heart and skills to treat trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, behavioral and anger issues and diagnose a variety of disorders. I have completed the externship training in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples and individuals heal from attachment injuries and learn how to hear each other’s heart again. I’m also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), both evidence-based approaches to treating trauma related problems and PTSD.
