Elizabeth Dowell, Therapist

(LAC)

I believe every person’s story deserves to be heard and shared in a safe space. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs. My passion lies in helping people work through trauma, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, addiction, and working through family issues. Life can be hard, messy, and painful and you shouldn’t have to walk through it alone. I enjoy helping my clients find the words to tell their stories, while also untangling and processing all of the feelings and memories that come from those stories. My therapeutic approach is person-centered because I believe each person has a specific need(s) and I tailor my practice around what you and your family need. I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health from John Brown University in December 2022. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors with my family, yoga, reading, and drinking coffee.
