Dr. Becky Porter, Therapist

(Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist)

A native of Arkansas, I received my B A from Hendrix College and my PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I am a clinical psychologist providing outpatient mental health services in a private practice setting for over 30 years. I see individuals, couples and families, and have experience with children, teens, and adults of all ages My approaches are cognitive-behavioral and eclectic interpersonal I treat a wide range of issues including anxiety and stress, depression, grief, family/couple conflict, women’s issues, eating disorders, sleep disorders, and relationships. I also enjoy working with the LGBTQ+ community and the deaf and hearing-impaired community. I believe it is important to consider and address all aspects of a person, body, mind, and spirit, as one heals from the stress and wounds of life. I enjoy being a part of helping people heal and achieve growth in all of these areas and would be happy to help you refine and attain your personal goals.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my children and grandchildren. I also love camping, travels, music, and theater
