Alexandria “Lexie” Kerr, Therapist
Life can be a chaotic mess. Especially for adolescents and young adults trying to learn about themselves while navigating environmental pressures. Challenges such as first jobs, new relationships, evaluating potential career paths, and exploring new identities can lead to increases in anxiety, anger, and self-esteem issues. I have many years of experience working through behavioral, school, and communication concerns with young adults and youth-at-risk, including court-involved youth. I strive to help individuals learn how to identify and express powerful emotions in a healthy manner.
I believe that connection and mutual respect can help lay the groundwork for sustainable change. I have a very laid-back approach and I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where everyone can feel comfortable expressing themselves. Asking for help is hard and making that first phone call can be scary. But together we can work to untangle some of the chaos.
