Benjamin “Benny” Tidwell, Therapist

I started working in mental health and substance abuse in 1990 and has been licensed to practice independently since 1997. I have worked in a variety of different settings from Inpatient, outpatient, Residential, PHP and IOP. I have also provided mental health treatment out of a PCP office. I graduated from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock campus in 1993 with BA’s in both Psychology and English and with a Masters in Social Work from there in 1995. For the last 6 years, I provided Integrated Mental Health combining helping my clients navigate the emotional impact of chronic as well as acute physical illnesses. While doing this I also continued to assist some clients with more traditional mental health issues. For the last several years I have seen my client’s virtually via TeleHealth as well as in the clinic. When you come to see me you will find that I don’t judge you, but am accepting of you, and your lifestyle and are wanting to help you live your best life.
