Tammy Besse, QBHP

My name is Tammy Besse. I have been married for 8 years; we are a blended family with 6 children. I am from the small town of Alpena where I decided to return and raise my children. I started college to be a teacher, changing to Psychology with an emphasis on child development. I have been working in school-based services for the past 10 years as a QBHP. My love for kids and youth fuels my passion for the work I do. My goal is to simply make a difference in as many of our kids’ lives as possible by providing a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental environment for them to communicate openly. To help them individually work through their everyday lives, as well as to provide recourses to help them fulfill their basic needs and mental health needs. I also enjoy working with families, seeing the unique dynamics of each and helping all work together.
