Robin Duran, Therapist

My name is Robin Duran, and I am so excited to be joining the CFT family! I have two amazing kiddos (9 and 10 year old) that I love hanging out with. I’ve been married to my best friend for 19 years, we are both from tiny towns in South East Arkansas! We moved to Conway in 2006 so I could attend grad school at UCA, and never left!

My clinical strengths are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Group Therapy, TF-CBT, Crisis Intervention, and Family Therapy. Maintaining ethical standards and is probably the strength I am most proud of, next to my ability to build rapport and a sense of community.

I pride myself on my ability to work with a team and promote cohesion. I love problem solving and utilizing my creative/artistic skills whenever I can.

While I have had many roles over the last 15 years, I have spent most of my time as a school based therapist. Working in public schools has helped me maximize my ability to build rapport quickly, utilize my flexible personality, and gain knowledge to help advocate for my clients academically.
