Ashley Tate

(LAC)

I am passionate about helping children, teens, and adults navigate a variety of life transitions, while also addressing other presenting concerns including, but not limited to, pregnancy , postpartum, parenthood, anxiety, depression, relational distress, trauma, communication, coping strategies, and self-esteem. I understand that each individual is unique and has differing needs, therefore I use an integrative approach to counseling and tailor treatment to the unique needs and preferences of each client. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. I have additional training in Perinatal Mental Health Conditions, Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma treatment. and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

I aim to provide a safe space for clients to explore all areas of their lives and address their needs, in order to reach their personal goals. I value the autonomy of each client and focus on building a healthy therapeutic relationship and space by showing respect and upholding confidentiality. I hope to assist each client in their counseling journey by empowering and equipping them with tools to continue growing throughout their lives.

I understand the importance of having a safe environment to process life experiences and grow, and my hope is to offer such an environment to each individual with whom I come in contact. I would love to explore the possibility of working together.
