Social connection, both positive and negative, can be one of the most influential driving forces for our mental health and overall wellbeing. My goal as a counselor is to provide a safe, accepting, authentic, and empowering space for my clients to explore how they have been affected by both past and present relationships and experiences. This way they can identify and build on their strengths, responsibilities, and goals so they can begin healing. I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, particularly with exploring disordered eating and eating disorders. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relational struggles. I additionally have training in identifying and diagnosing eating disorders as well as supporting clients within the LGBTQIA+ community.

My counseling space is built on the belief that my clients are the experts of their lives and capable of fostering their own healing. I aim to provide support, new insights, and challenges for consideration, but I also want my clients to feel safe enough to clarify their needs at any time during the counseling relationship. My counseling space is open to people of all cultural groups, which includes a promise on my part to constantly seek new knowledge beyond my personal experience and provide the most supportive resources possible for all of my clients.

I graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a master’s in clinical mental health counseling in May 2024. In my free time, I am a dedicated academic of all things, finding intrigue and satisfaction in researching anything and everything that comes to mind (resulting in a substantial collection of random and unnecessary facts). I also enjoy exploring the outdoors, traveling to immerse myself in new cultural experiences, reading copious amounts of books, thrifting and antiquing, and snuggling with 12-year-old cat, Macie.
