Shara Kang, Therapist
(LMSW)

Life is full of transitions, and you don’t have to face them alone. As an LMSW, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate some of life’s most meaningful and challenging seasons. Whether you’re an athlete striving to perform at your best or an older adult adjusting to life’s changes, I provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood and empowered.

As a former collegiate athlete, I understand that success in sports requires more than physical ability. The pressure to perform, injuries, changing identities, self-doubt. And life after athletics can take a significant emotional toll. I enjoy helping athletes build confidence, strengthen resilience, manage performance anxiety and discover who they are beyond an athlete.

I also have a heart for working with older adults and their families as they navigate aging, grief, caregiving, loss and other major life transitions. These experiences can bring sadness, and overwhelming emotions, but they can also become opportunities for healing, growth, and renewed purpose. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals and families during these important chapters of life.

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, respected, and accepted. My approach is person-centered, compassionate, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. Together, we will build on your strengths, develop practical tools, and help you move forward with greater confidence, resilience and hope.
