I am thrilled to be a part of Chenal Family Therapy. I begin my journey in the mental health field as an MHPP (mental health paraprofessional) in 2011. I went back to school for my first master’s in human services with a focus in criminal justice. It was during this program that I was exposed to the field of social work and learned how I could both support my daughter and have a career I was passionate about. In 2016 I moved to NWA and had my second daughter. I completed my MSW program with Simmons College in 2018 and jumped into school-based therapy. I saw an opportunity to work with a great mentor of mine and advance my skills as a therapist specializing in treating high-risk adolescents who have been exposed to trauma. I received my TF-CBT certification in 2020 and have worked closely with this population throughout my career. After serving as the Clinical Director at a residential facility I sought out an opportunity to return to community social work. I feel that I fit closely with the CFT mission and look forward to providing direct care for years to come.
