(Ph.D., LP, NCSP, Licensed Psychologist)
As a native of the Memphis area, Dr. Medley completed her academic studies in special education (B.S.), psychometry (M.S.) and school psychology (Ph.D.) at Mississippi State University. She completed her pre-doc internship at LSU Health Sciences Center in the Louisiana School Psychological Internship Consortium in and around New Orleans. She worked several years in southeast Louisiana as a school psychologist in traditional, charter, and state direct-run schools. While continuing to practice in schools and private practice, she served as Assistant Professor in Nicholls State University’s school psychology program before coming to Arkansas State University as an Assistant Professor. Her favorite part of working the field of psychology is seeing children, adolescents, and families succeed in meeting their goals. In her free time, she enjoys traveling for fun, mission work, and/or disaster response. She enjoys hiking and kayaking with friends and her dog around the lakes and rivers of Arkansas and Tennessee.
