“Connection is why we’re here; it’s what gives purpose and meaning to our lives” – Brené Brown

In the 8+ years I have worked in the counseling field, I have found that at the heart of what I do is connection: connecting with clients so that they feel seen and heard in a nonjudgmental way, helping children and parents reconnect when challenging behaviors and emotions get in the way, helping individuals explore and connect with those parts of themselves that help them move past their struggles and thrive.  Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral and emotional difficulties with your child, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, trauma and chronic stress, stress management or other phases of life issues, I am here to help.

I am Tina Shrader, LPC-S and I graduated in 2009 with my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Henderson State University.  I believe in taking a collaborative, strengths-based approach with my clients.  I have experience working in various settings (residential, day treatment, outpatient), with a wide array of clients and concerns with the majority of my experience working with children and families.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my son and husband, knitting, comedy, playing board games and anything even remotely Harry Potter related.
