I strongly believe in the power of relationships which can build up a person as well as negatively impact their lives. I seek to recognize a person’s strengths and solutions in order to validate, empathize, and affirm even when a person is unable to see. I enjoy working with adolescents and parents, young adults seeking the place in the community and resolving family of origin issues, and adults who struggle with adjustment challenges moving through the chapters of single life, marriage, parenting, work-life, divorce, blended families, and grief and loss. I work with adults and teenagers who are struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, and relational issues. I provide Solution- and Strengths-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, and Structural Family Therapy model. The therapeutic relationship is collaborative and supportive.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n My career spans teaching high school English, working in a residential treatment facility for adolescents, partnering with the juvenile justice system, working with educators, and community-based behavioral health entities.
