I have been a social worker and have worked in the mental health field for more than 10 years, working with children, adolescents, adults and families.\u00a0 I have worked with people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bi-polar disorder, trauma, grief, autism and those who identify as LGBTQ. I have also worked extensively with adolescents with sexual acting out behaviors and sexually reactive behavior.\u00a0 I have a passion for helping people who feel that they don\u2019t fit in with others or who are struggling to find their way. I want to help validate the feelings that people experience, and help them learn new ways to manage their response to those experiences. I want to help people reach the goals they have set in their life and find ways to use their strengths to improve their life and relationships.\u00a0 I use different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs and strengths, including, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, solution focused therapy and play therapy. It is hard sometimes to seek help, or to make changes in your life and I want to be someone that can help you make those changes that might initially feel overwhelming.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
