I began my social work journey more than 16 years ago. I have a plethora of experiences which contribute to my ability to empathize with clients. You may be experiencing neurodivergence or be a parent who is struggling with the stresses of balancing family, friends, and work. Many also need understanding about medical trauma or the struggle of caregiving. I will collaborate with the client to identify their strengths and use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to identify supports to fit their needs. I will also place a focus on mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and person centered practice. Any interventions will be tailored to the client’s needs in a confidential, judgement free space.<\/p>\n
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker having graduated from the University of Oklahoma which offered a comprehensive social work program. In 2008, I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Arkansas. My experience spans all age groups including families, elderly, adolescents, and school-aged youth. In my free time, I garden, collect houseplants, read, and spend time with my pets as well as further my professional knowledge.<\/p>\n
