My name is Mary McNew. I recently completed my master\u2019s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2022. I am currently a licensed associated counselor working as a school-based mental health therapist. I am so happy to be assisting children and adolescents in their educational environment. I am a firm believer that one of the biggest factors for success in counseling is building a strong therapeutic alliance. I strive to meet clients in each situation with empathy, honesty, and open-mindedness.\u00a0 Some areas in which I enjoy working with my clients include building self-esteem, reducing anxiety, and improving relationships.
