My name is Jennifer Heard and I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with my Masters in Counseling in December of 2010. Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings and continued learning evidence-based treatments. I am trained in Trauma-Focused CBT, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I work with clients of all ages treating issues pertaining to depression, anxiety, life changes, and trauma. I am an LGBT ally and enjoy working on different issues within this population.<\/p>\n
Life is complicated and can give us many stressors. My goal as a therapist is to co-create goals to work towards building a new foundation. My approach is nonjudgemental and down-to-earth to put you at ease.<\/p>\n
Outside of the office, I am a wife and a mom. I love spending time with my family and trips to the beach.<\/p>\n
