Elizabeth (Andrea) Wolfe

(LCSW)

I started out in healthcare at the age of 18. I worked with teens and adults with developmentally disabled. I helped them with ADL’s (activities of daily living) and job training. I loved the work that I did transferring to different areas within the company for 7 years. I took some time off to get married and have babies. I then started back to school for nursing. I worked mostly private care during this time taking care of the elderly. I also enjoyed this line of work but I knew I wanted to do more.

It was when my family and I moved back to Arkansas I started working at a hospital. I began to talk with a Medical Social Worker about what being a social worker was and her time as a behavioral therapist that I knew that was what I wanted to be. So, I started back to school, and I am now a Licensed Master Social Worker. I have always been a big advocate for mental health and bringing awareness to it. I also have helped try to bring resources into the community and helped individuals utilize those resources. I am very passionate about creating a safe environment where individuals can speak openly about their struggles. I feel that together we can create goals, steps, and seek out the resources to assist in this process. I have worked with many different forms of therapy such as Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The therapy technique that I will use will be based on the individual, what their needs are, and what works best for them. I enjoy working with individuals ages 6 on up. I am very passionate about women’s rights. I have worked with individuals that have addiction issues, individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, suicidal individuals, and handled many crisis calls. I am not here to judge you or tell you what to do. I am here to help you, support you, and fight for you to the best of my ability.
