Brian Skinkle, Therapist
I was helped by a therapist a few years ago and that created the desire in me to help others in the same way I had been helped. I began that journey by going back to school at age 60 and getting the degree I needed to become a therapist. I am excited to be in one of the helping professions.
I worked in the public school system as a band director and did that for over 24 years. I have also worked in full-time church ministry over 13 years. I believe this life experience gives me a unique perspective to help people, both adolescents and adults, work through the difficulties of life that so frequently get us “down.” I work from a solution focused perspective and have experience working with people that have experienced trauma, as well.
